Membership

Membership is open to area residents. Annual dues are $30.00 payable no later than the October gereral meeting.

Benefit

Monthly Meetings: The Guild meets every first Thursday at Masonic Center. Meetings include special activities and guest speakers. The guild contracts with featured speakers from all over the country. Colleen Grnager, Ellen Anne Eddy and Joyce Becker are some of our guest speakers in 2005.

Workshop: Speakers are scheduled for most meetings and normally offer classes for one or two days following the meeting at which they speak. A great opportunity to learn from well-know quilters.

Library: The Guild offers an extensive collection of books for our members. Each member can checkout three books at a time. Books are due at the next meeting.

Newsletter: Each member will receive a newsletter every month. The newsletter includes minutes of the previous meeting, announcements, reminders, workshop information, current events, newsletter block and sometimes coupons from fabric stores.

Quilt Shows: ASQG Quilt Show is held every other year to show the quilts created by our members.

Discounts: Members will be given a membership card which gives a discount towards any purchase at Hankcock Fabrics.

Responsiblity

Community Service: Each guild member is expected to participate in community service projects.

Quilt Show Members are expected to participate in our biennial quilt show and to sell the allotted number of opportunity quilt tickets.

Committe Members are encouraged to participate in our various committees. Most members will find an interesting activity or committee to be involved in.
